Sandy Barrow joined McKee Properties in 2012. Her focus is on listing and selling homes and condominiums in both Cashiers and Highlands.
Clients praise her unwavering attention to their needs, especially first-time buyers and she is known for her skill in bringing closure to sales in a smooth and seamless manner. Her sales history includes transactions at Highlands Country Club, Wade Hampton Golf Club, Highlands Mountain Club, Big Sheepcliff, Spring Forest, Village Walk in Highlands, and Queen Mountain in Highlands.
A central focus of Sandy’s community involvement is the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust where she serves on the organization’s Board of Directors and as current development chair. She also serves on the Board of the Performing Arts Center in Highlands, and is a former board member of the Village Green. She chaired the Joy Garden Tour in 2009, raising almost $150,000 for the Village Green and was chairman of the Plein Air Festival in 2012.
Sandy is originally from Macon, Georgia. Prior to her move to Cashiers with her husband John in 2002, they lived in Highlands for 10 years. Formerly, Sandy was a school teacher, director of development for Children’s Hospital in Macon and later executive director of the historic house museum, Hay House in Macon.
