After many summers of vacationing with his family at his wife Lynn’s family home on Cashiers Lake, Wayne and his family moved to Cashiers in 1989.
Wayne’s wife Lynn is a well-known Interior Designer of Monday’s House of Design, who works on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau and locations from Atlanta to New York to Canada. He serves the community as a board member of Fishes & Loaves, and the Cashiers Community Council.
Wayne served in the US Army during Vietnam, inspired by his father, a POW in World War II who taught him “never take anything for granted.” He takes that message to heart in cherishing the friends he has made in real estate over the years.
“Wayne is an excellent realtor. He was very knowledgeable, gave us plenty of his time, and knew the area very well. He quickly learned what we were looking for and was very patient with us. It took us 3 years to find the right home. He is polite, fun, and has continued to be a great asset to us. We have become friends with Wayne and his wife–they are great people who have introduced us to many things. We would strongly recommend Wayne.

“Wayne was a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable of the area and was quick to good sense of what we were interested in purchasing. Wayne knows what is going on not only in the real estate market, but also in the community. Wayne is very prompt in returning phone calls and procuring information for us. He is very patient and a good negotiator. I believe Wayne represented our interests well in negotiating our purchase agreement. I would highly recommend Wayne to anyone looking to buy or sell property in the Cashiers area and surrounding communities.”
