Dear Friends,
We find ourselves in uncertain times. But this much is certain: Above all, McKee Properties values the health and safety of our clients, our team, our friends and our community. This is why we’re conducting business a bit differently — but most effectively — in light of COVID-19.
Our Office & Team
According to the Order issued this past Friday by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, real estate offices are considered an “essential business” and are therefore allowed to remain open. However, we believe it is important to do our part to help limit the spread of the virus and protect our clients, Brokers and staff until there is better evidence of containment.
So, effective immediately and until further notice, our office, located in the Minnie Cole House on Highway. 107 S., is open by appointment only.
This does not mean our company is closed. In fact, our McKee Properties team is working as hard as ever to serve our clients. We are attending to our phones and mail between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. To leave us a message outside of these hours, please contact us at 828.743.3411 or mckeeproperties@cashiers.com.

Market Strength
Experts predict economic decline and recovery will be a quick “v-shaped event.” Meanwhile, our local residential real estate market remains strong. Most recently, two of our listings closed at 98% and 90.7% of list price.

Village of Cashiers
Our beloved resort village may be slower than usual as people stay inside and take advantage of the seclusion and safety of our mountain homes. Please be advised that anyone coming from out-of-state or out-of-country entering Jackson County is required to quarantine for 14 days.
However, essential businesses are open and local restaurants are filling take-out orders.
